Uses
This page lists the tech I use daily, both hardware and software. I’ve seen others do something similar, and always enjoy reading them, so I figured I’d create one for myself.
I’ll only include the tools I use regularly that add value to my life, hobbies, or schoolwork.
Hardware
- MacBook Air M2
- Logitech MX Master 3s
- I recently returned the Lofree Flow, so I’m on the lookout for a new keyboard—most likely a Magic Keyboard when the USB-C version is released.
- LG Ultragear 27GP850P-B external monitor
- AirPods Pro 2 USB-C
- iPhone 15 Pro with a FineWoven Case
- Satechi 2-in-1 Qi2 Charger for my desk setup
- Apple TV 4K
- Sonos Speakers around the house
Software
- Task Manager: Recently switched back to Apple Reminders from Things 3
- Notes App: Apple Notes, now my complete project management tool, including task tracking. It has replaced the Projects feature in Things 3, as I’m focusing on keeping everything as simple as possible.
- Browser: A mix of Arc and Safari—Safari on iOS and Arc on my Mac, though I might switch back to Safari on Mac too.
- RSS Reader, Podcasts, and More: I’m loving Reeder right now. It’s my go-to for podcasts, RSS feeds, YouTube channels, plus a few subreddits and Mastodon accounts!
- Text & Code Editor: VSCode, which I use for coding and writing markdown for this blog. It’s been flawless. I wrote about my workflow here.
- Photo Editing: Photomator Pro on both Mac and iPhone—love how it syncs between devices, and the interface is top-notch.
- Music: Apple Music all the way! I’d never go back to Spotify after using this—it’s better in every way.
- Mail: Apple Mail with iCloud for personal use and Microsoft for university.
